TERRAWARS — Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

TerraWars ("the Game") is a game application that runs inside Reddit via the Reddit Developer Platform. By playing the Game you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not play. Your use of Reddit itself is additionally governed by Reddit's User Agreement and policies.

2. The Service

The Game provides an interactive, auto-battling space RPG experience within Reddit posts. We may add, change, or remove features, content, and game balance at any time to keep the Game fun and fair. We may suspend or discontinue the Game or any part of it at any time.

3. Virtual Goods & Gems

• The Game includes an optional virtual currency ("Gems") and virtual items purchasable with Gems (such as cosmetic engine trails, upgrade re-rolls, and a one-time in-run revive).
• Gems and virtual items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money or goods, and are licensed to you for use within the Game only — you do not own them.
• Virtual purchases are designed to be non-pay-to-win: they are time-savers and cosmetics and do not grant permanent combat advantages.
• Gems and virtual items are consumed within the Game and are generally non-refundable except where a refund is required by applicable law or by Reddit's payment policies.
• Unused Gems or items may be forfeited if the Game is discontinued or your access is terminated for violating these Terms.

4. Payments

All purchases of Gems are processed through Reddit's payments system using Reddit Gold, subject to Reddit's payment terms and policies. We do not collect or store your payment details. Prices are shown before purchase. Refund requests are handled in accordance with Reddit's payment and refund policies.

5. Fair Play & Conduct

You agree not to cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorized automation, tamper with game data or network traffic, or otherwise interfere with the Game or other players. Player-created content (such as custom sectors) must not be abusive, illegal, or infringing. We may reset progress, remove content, or restrict access for conduct that violates these Terms or Reddit's rules.

6. User-Created Content

The Game lets players create and publish content (e.g., custom sectors and ship fits used as bosses). By publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the Game. You are responsible for content you create and must have the rights to it.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

The Game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game, including loss of virtual goods or progress.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued play after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
